The Future of The Weed of the Brain

In the Future: Welcome

Following on from this physical exhibition, I aim to further pursue my art practice in sculpture and reach out to collaborators of experts in Augmented Reality.

I found that I would like to explore and professionally capture my time-lapse growth with expert equipment, instead of a DSLR camera.

I also want to capture the growth of my agar brain, and experiment further with capturing the environment. I am interested in exploring green screen technology, by experimenting with creative backgrounds, and also reflecting further treatments for GBM; such as injecting substances into the agar, to give an aesthetic effect.

I feel that reaching out to film and media professionals, would allow me to explore these creative endeavours.

Based on my 3D printed brain, I would like to experiment with bio-printing as evidenced by the work of Anna Dumitriu and her "Biotechnology of a Blue Flower", through bio-printing plant cells into a brain shape, and allowing the plants to grow.

Moving on from my creative practice, I also hope to reach out to various galleries, exhibitions and hospitals, that specialise in the brain or oncology, in order to exhibit my work.

Some of these hospitals include:

 - Clatterbridge

 - Salford Royal

 - The Walton Centre
