Mark Roughley

TUTOR AND 3D DIGITAL ARTIST

Mark is a Lecturer in 3D Digital Art at Liverpool School of Art and Design and a member of the Face Lab research group that explores faces and art-science applications. Mark trained as a medical artist, gaining his MSc in Medical Art from the University of Dundee, and specialises in visualising anatomy through 3D data acquisition, modelling and fabrication. His research focuses on the affordances that 3D digital technologies allow for both digital and haptic interaction with anatomical and cultural artefacts. He is the host of the art-science Liverpool LASER Talks (Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendezvous) and a Section Editor for the Journal of Visual Communication in Medicine.

Partha Vauide

CONSULTANT PLASTIC, RECONSTRUCTIVE & AESTHETIC SURGEON AND MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR SURGICAL ART

Prof Vaiude's work at LJMU concentrates on postgraduate studies where there is a marriage of art and science, specifically surgery, and in particular the MA Art in Science Programme. He brings his surgical expertise and artistic understanding to the programme. Prof Vaiude is a champion of the practical application of the arts in surgical practice, and the merits of the collaborative influences of surgery on the arts. He develops his concepts, taking inspiration from fields as varied as fashion design to Venetian mask making, the performing arts to horology.

Adam Sadiq

CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIST

I am a creative technologist and artist who produces learning resources, design and art encounters with climate change and futurism. Amongst others I have worked on projects with the British Council, FACT, METAL UK, Cheshire East Council and Forum for the Future.

Milo Simpraga

AR AND VR EXPERT

Milo is apart of the Digital Photo Lab in LJMU. His interests in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality have enabled this connection to my project. Along with his technical capability in filming, photography and publication.

Martin Gee

PRODUCT DESIGN AND DIGITAL MODELLING LECTURER

Martin Gee works with students in setting up exhibitions; involving lighting and technical adjustments.
